Handmade by Sylvia Jackson and other women of the Navajo
Nation (Din'eh), USA. Made from deerskin, the traditional leather for medicine
bags, these artist designed medicine bags are made from soft quality leather
with an excellent finish. A bead sits at the top of the bag made from blown
glass which slides allowing you to open the bag and put in it whatever small
precious items you wish to carry. The animal totem is made from wood. You can
adjust the length of the cord tie to hang around your neck by moving the knot.
Bag height approx. 5 cms (2 inches), length of cord approx. 28 inches (70 cms).

A medicine bag is a sacred pouch traditionally worn around the neck by Native American and used to carry significant items such as small crystals, rocks, herbs etc.
