A range of ethically sourced smudge, herbs and
resins. Our copal resins are Fair Trade from Guatemala; abalone
shells are sustainable produce from South Africa and our US smudge and herb products come from either Juniper Ridge or Fluorescent Ranch. Our Scottish smudge is handmade by shamanic craftworker, Kai
Seidr. Based in Inverness Kai makes his smudge from ethically sourced grown or
foraged plants and fungi.
Juniper Ridge started at a farmers market in Berkeley,
California in 1998. Everything they grow and make comes from the mountains or
the deserts of western USA. All of their produce is sustainably and responsibly
harvested from the wild and they never kill the plants they harvest, trimming
sage at the green stem, above the woody section, meaning two or three new
clusters appear the following year where they harvested one. Juniper Ridge
donates 10% of their profits to defending western wildernesses.
